Michael P. O’Shea is a Partner and Co-Founder of Family Law Partners. He was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and attended Christian Brothers College for high school.
For his undergraduate studies, Michael attended DePaul University in Chicago and earned his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and History. During his tenure in Chicago, Michael owned and operated a newspaper publication that was distributed throughout the city of Chicago.
Michael returned home to attend St. Louis University School of Law and graduated among the top 27% of his entire class. In law school, Michael served as Vice-President of the Federalist Society and competed in Trial Advocacy. Michael was given the Academic Excellence Award, which is given as the highest grade, for Constitutional Law and American Legal History.
Early Legal Career
Following graduation from law school, Michael began his career practicing with a large domestic relations firm in the St. Louis area. Since graduation, he has authored numerous appellate court briefs and has appeared before the Missouri Court of Appeals in the Eastern District.
Michael has established himself as an aggressive litigator that will fight for his client’s goals. As one of the founding partners at Family Law Partners, Michael and seeks to provide clients with dedicated representation rooted in client-centered service. They also feel compelled to keep their services reasonable and affordable for clients. He can represent clients in all types of family law matters, such as divorce, child support and custody litigation, enforcements, and the preparation and implementation of Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (“QDROs”).
Michael currently resides in Winghaven with his wife and two daughters. He is a devoted St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Rams fan. His hobbies include golf, guitar and soccer.
